President/ Founder

Scotty Brown

With over 30 years of construction and remodeling experience, Scotty is the managing member of the SBC team.

Scotty began his construction career in Southern California, where he was born and raised. As a professional rodeo cowboy, he found that construction was one of the few occupation where he was able to leave for a length of time and still have a job when he returned.

Scotty moved to Wyoming in 1992, where he met his wife, Stacey and continued to rodeo as well as work in construction. Scotty and Stacey now have four kids and one grandson.

In 2008, Scotty closed his multi-state window & door company to dedicate his time and resources to Scott Brown Construction. Since then, SBC has completed hundreds of custom homes, commercial buildings and remodeling projects.

In addition to managing the day to day business operations, Scotty leads the design team and you can still find him working on each project, daily.

What We Value

01

Honesty & Integrity

Honesty and integrity go hand in hand and isn't just something we talk about, but something we live out. To us and our family, there are few things that are more important than being honest. Honesty is a reflection of who we are and not just something we do. So, we strive to be honest in our dealing with clients, with subcontractors and trade partners.

02

Transparency

It's easy to tell a client what they want to hear, but, sometimes, difficult to tell them what they need to hear. We strive to be transparent in everything from scheduling to cost. From our expectations for your project to what you should expect before, during and after.

03

Growth & Innovation

At SBC, we are committed to providing the latest in product innovation that will, truly, help us create a top quality home. We refuse to jump on board with the latest trend, but instead, continually look for innovative ways to improve what we do and how your home performs.

04

Team Work

Teamwork begins with the relationship between the client and the builder. But, it doesn't end there. That's why, at SBC, we choose to only team up with trade partners that we have a strong relationship with and we trust to work with us and the client, to produce a great result.

05

Craftsmanship

Quality starts with an attention to detail and a desire to create something special. Craftsmanship is the ability to see those details and that desire come true. We are many things, at SBC, but above all, we're craftsmen. Regardless of whether we're framing a house or installing intricate millwork, paying attention to the details separates us from the rest.

06

Affordability

"Custom" does not, necessarily, mean expensive. Every client is different, and every client's budget is different. However, regardless of whether you have a large or small budget, lavish or modest tastes, we are committed to providing the same level of service and quality to every client. You should never settle for less.

Our Story

Quality begins with family and Scott Brown Construction is truly a family business. As a family, the SBC team understands families and their, sometimes, unique needs.

Founded in 2008, Scott Brown Construction is the culmination of many decades of experience in the building and remodeling industry. By the time Scotty Brown, officially, started SBC, he had already spent over 20 years working in various aspects of the building and remodeling industry. From concrete to framing, flooring to roofing and from windows and doors to finish work, Scotty had acquired almost every skill he could.

As a child, he first became interested in the trades while "tagging along" with his grandfather, who was a general contractor, in California. When Scotty became interested in rodeo, he found that a job in the trades would allow him to travel and yet always return to available work. Professional rodeo is what took Scotty to Wyoming, in 1992, but it was the building industry, and a wife, that kept him there.

In 2008, after working in the family roofing business, installing flooring and owning and operating a multi-state window and door company, Scotty decided to take his experience and open one company that could do it all. Thus, Scott Brown Construction was born.

Vice President

Matt Brown

Matt began working in the construction and remodeling industry at a very young age, first helping his dad, Scotty, while still in high school. It didn't take Matt long to realize that his desire was to continue in the family business, eventually becoming a partner.

Matt's skills vary greatly, ranging from carpentry to flooring and even painting. Matt heads up the newly created cabinet shop, both designing and building custom cabinets and closet solutions for all of the SBC projects. When not building cabinets or custom millwork, you can, typically, find him on most of SBC's projects in both a carpenter and management position.

Matt is a notable photographer and he and his wife, Kiley, also raise a small heard of cattle.
